Forgotten Stories from the Alameda County Sheriff’s Office

On March 20th, Steve Minniear, a local author and Dublin’s city historian, will present on the history of the Alameda County Sheriff's Office. He will discuss the office’s significant role in the Tri-Valley, particularly its jail operations and patrol presence. Minniear, who recently released a book on this subject, will share previously unseen photographs and stories from the Alameda County Sheriff’s archives. In addition to his work on the sheriff's office, Minniear has also written books on the history of Dublin and the Tri-Valley during the World War II era.

The Veterans Memorial Building of the San Ramon Valley

Celebrating 100 Years:  1925-2025

 Sunday March 30th, 11am to 5pm
